Or they're so elaborate and expensive they turn something deeply personal into a production.

I make these films because every life story deserves dignity.
This work is for people who want something real and personal — not a template, and not a full production team.
What we leave behind should feel human and elegant — not formulaic or produced.
It isn’t about doing less or more.
It's about doing what matters.
Whether the story spans a lifetime or focuses on a single chapter,
your film will be crafted slowly and intentionally,
with attention to voice, pacing, and meaning.

Process
We start with a conversation to see whether this feels like the right fit for you and your family.
From there, we gather what already exists: photographs, documents, and memories.
You choose the focus.
Nothing elaborate is required.
I then shape the story into a clear narrative, weaving photographs and documents together in a way that feels natural and true.
Most films run twenty to thirty minutes, allowing space for what truly matters.
When helpful, I include light historical or period research.
Once the foundation is agreed upon, I create the film and share it with you for review before final delivery.
The finished film is delivered privately within a few weeks via secure download, with a hosted viewing link for easy sharing.
